The Rastenbach Gorge between Altenburg and Lake Kaltern with its waterfalls and water basins, ivy-covered trees, fallen trunks and rippling cool water is an impressive natural monument.
From the St. Anton sports facilities‘ parking lot over the Turn the path marked 11A into the Kardatscher Wanderweg (no.10) and after about 45 minutes walk right following the sign „Rastenbachklamm“ (no.1) for 45 minutes towards Altenburg. Then in 15 minutes further up the gorge to the Müllereck car park. Cross the Altenburgerstraße and return to the starting point in 30 minutes via the Altenburger Wanderweg No. 11.
